Covid-19 Immigration New Zealand work visa application requirements for veterinarians

This short video is made especially for HR Managers, Practice Managers and anyone else involved in placing job board advertisements in a veterinary clinic for veterinarians.

Even though veterinarians are still on the Long Term Skills Shortage list with Immigration New Zealand, Covid-19 resulted in lots of changes.

One of those is New Zealand’s borders are closed (as at writing) and getting a visa issued for a veterinarian is now a very hard thing to do.

Immigration New Zealand wants to protect New Zealanders’ job prospects and one of the things it does is asks employers (veterinary clinics) to categorically prove there were no kiwis who could have done the job you’re advertising.

One of the ways you can do this is to capture the dashboard data from your job board listings by either screen shot => PDF or (if the option is available) a data download.
