How to answer the “… do you have any questions?” or “… what questions do you have of us?” that hiring managers usually ask job seekers at the end of the job interview

two-way exchange of information between hiring manager & job seeker

It’s important to remember that attending a job interview is a two way exchange of information.   It’s easy to think the employer has all the power.

However, in today’s market that’s questionable.

I (Julie South) believe both parties have equal power when everything is balanced out.

create an even balance of interviewing power

At job interviewers, hiring managers / interviewers usually ask “do you have any questions you’d like to ask?“.

Many job seekers mumble something along the lines of “you’ve answered all my questions” [which may be true] or “no – no questions“.

it’s okay to ask questions that other job seekers don’t usually ask!

Here are 15 questions across three top level subjects to help job-seekers level out the balance of interviewing “power” that can be assumed at a job interview.

3 top level topics

The main question topics relate to the:

  • vet clinic role that you’re applying for,
  • vet clinic’s vision; and
  • vet clinic culture

VetStaff does more than recruitment

With NZs borders opening up, VetStaff has upped the ante on its international marketing campaigns again.

Unless you run a VPN it’s unlikely you’ll see what we’re up to because they’re running in the Northern Hemisphere.

We’ve targeted just about every country there’s a veterinary science degree that’s recognised by the NZVC for full registration.

If you’d like to benefit from these campaigns get in touch because clinics that are registered with us exclusively get first dibs on interviewing these vets after we’ve done all their interviews and background checks.
